SIKESTON - William Arnold Jackson Sr., 83, formerly of Paducah, Ky., and Denver, Colo., died at 12:35 a.m. Oct. 4, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Jan. 31, 1920, in Paducah, Ky., son of the late Ewen Owen and Edith Mitchell Jackson, he was a welder with Pipefitters Local 208 in Denver for 45 years until retiring in 1982.
Survivors include: two sons, William A. "Bill" Jackson Jr. of Juneau, Alaska, and Larry Don Jackson, address unavailable; one daughter, Lisa Jackson Mattox of Conifer, Colo.; three grandchildren, Christopher Jackson and Charis Jackson of Juneau and Matthew Jackson of Auke Bay, Alaska; and two great-granddaughters, Kaylin Jackson and Mackenzie Jackson of Juneau.
The body was cremated and no services are planned.
