DEXTER -- A third person is in jail for her involvement in making a false bomb threat to Tyson Foods last month.
Sondra Jean Link, 39, of Dexter was arrested Sunday on charges of making a terroristic threat and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Stoddard County Sheriff's Department.
The threat was made around 4:18 p.m. Sept. 26 to Tyson Foods. At the time of the report, Tyson employees were evacuated to a safe location.
The Dexter Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, along with Tyson officials, conducted a search of the interior and exterior of the plant and nothing was located.
Bond was set at $55,000, and Link remains in Stoddard County Jail at this time. A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Oct. 18 before Joe Z. Satterfield, Associate Circuit Judge, Division II in Stoddard County.
Misty Michelle Brown, 33, and John Dee Brown, 54, of Dexter were arrested Sept. 28 on warrants for making terroristic threats. Bond was set at $50,000 cash for each of the subjects; both remain in jail.
