SIKESTON - Intersections with traffic signals along Highway 61 in Sikeston will undergo lane reductions next week.
Work is expected to start Monday, weather permitting, to saw detector loops into the recently resurfaced pavement on Highway 61 from Calvary Drive to Route 60. The work will be a moving operation and is expected daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through June 29. Motorists can expect lane closures at the various intersections.
Striping work is also expected to get under way on the new pavement next week. Striping operations will be performed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
