CHAFFEE - Glenda Faye Hahn, 62, passed away peacefully Oct. 21, 2003, at her home.
She was born on June 6, 1941, in Chaffee, daughter of the late Lawrence Joseph and Jessie Rozina Bailey Glency.
Glenda was very active in trail riding and showed horses for many years. She worked at the Sports Specialty Shoe Company in Chaffee before she went to Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee, where she worked for 30 years before retiring in February 1996. She was a member of Chaffee General Baptist Church, where she served as secretary for many years, and was also a member of Chaffee VFW Post 3127 Ladies Auxiliary.
On Feb. 15, 1958, she married Jerry Lee Hahn and he survives of the home.
Loving survivors include: her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Rick Tanksley and Mona and Randy Horrell of Chaffee; one stepson, Jerry Wayne Hahn of Kelso; four grandchildren and a grandson-in-law, Robyn and Josh Shelly of Hayti and Andrew Horrell, Whitney Horrell and Zach McDaniel of Chaffee; two great-grandchildren, MaKayla and MaKenzie Shelly of Hayti; one brother and sister-in-law, Mick and Ruth Ann Glency of Chaffee; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Laverne Simpson of Chaffee and Velma and Watson Hester of Delta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patsy Howell and Mary Felty; and one brother, Paul Caldwell.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
