Garry Hess

ADVANCE - Garry Lee Hess, 51, died Aug. 20, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born April 4, 1952, in Painton, son of the late Robert D. and Vilamae Spillman Hess Sr., he graduated from Bell City High School. A graduate of the Diesel Mechanic School in Memphis, Tenn., he was a parts manager for Nelson Tractor in Sikeston.

On May 1, 1982, in Scott City, he married Ronda Martin who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four daughters, Heather O'Dell of Ellsinore and Latasha Martin, Ashley Hess and Lindsay Hess of Advance; three brothers, Robert D. Hess Jr. of Bell City, Steve Hess of Lake Ozark and Huey Hess of Advance; four sisters, Lois Boley of Sikeston, Sandy McCall of Chaffee, Janet Bain of Fredericktown and Donna Johnson of Vanduser; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Hess, and four sisters.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Keith Price will officiate.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park.
