SCOTT CITY - Ronald Dale Talley, 58, died Feb. 26, 2005, at his home.

Born Oct. 5, 1946, in Dexter, son of Frances "Elizabeth" O'Dell Riggs of Scott City and the late Raymon Bartley Talley, he was an equipment operator for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a sergeant with the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post 6407 in Scott City.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: two sons, James Talley and John Talley of Scott City; two sisters, Linda Owen of Scott City and Kathy Simmons of Advance; and two grandchildren, Dakota Talley and Jordanne Talley.

One brother preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans' Cemetery at Bloomfield.
