CHARLESTON - Albert Lee Jones, 49, died at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 26, 2005, at his home.
Born March 10, 1955, in Hayti, daughter of the late Albert Lewis and Laura Sparks Jones, he was a lifelong resident of Charleston. He was an automobile mechanic and was of the Baptist belief.
On April 15, 1975, he married Sondra Myracle who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Aaron Jones of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn and Glen Perry Jr. of Diehlstadt and Denise Burke and Nichell and Doug Haddock of Charleston; one brother, Bob Prosise of Kankakee, Ill.; three sisters, Lavanna Gaskins of Charleston, Lisa Hall of Benton and Bea Blasingain of Sikeston; and five grandchildren and one great-
He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Bobby Burke; one brother, Bruce Jones; and one sister, Elizabeth Butler.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McMikle Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mark Odle, pastor of the General Baptist Church at Diehlstadt, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Jim Hall, James Hall, John Thurman, Doyle Wicker, Dennis Faire and David Faire.
