BENTON - Beulah Lackey, 75, died Feb. 25, 2005, at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 26, 1930, in Mound City, Ill., daughter of the ate Elmer Allen and Lora Leatherland Welch, she was of the Baptist belief.
On June 15, 1950, at Piggott, Ark., she married Harley William Lackey who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1985.
Two brothers also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Judy Welter of Benton; two brothers, Sylvester Welch of Cobden, Ill., and Gary Welch of Olive Branch, Ill.; one sister, Jeanette Phillips of Olive Branch, Ill.; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Mound City.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
