EAST PRAIRIE- Warren Chester Wilson, 82, formerly of St. Louis, died Oct. 12, 2004, at his home.

Born Feb. 2, 1922, in East Prairie, son of the late John and Ethel Mae Neely Wilson, he worked for Opportunity Incorporated in St. Louis from 1959-91 and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: one sister, Mary Williams of Matthews; and several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. Sonny Jackson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
