INDEPENDENCE - Jacqueline Faye Kelley, 65, died April 17, 2005, at her home.
Born May 15, 1939, in Lansing, Mich., daughter of the late Garth and Wandah Audentia Trumble McKeage, when she was 9 her family moved to the Kansas City area where she attended schools and was active in the music program earning medals for playing string bass and played with the Kansas City Philharmonic in the late 1950s. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in education and later received a master's in religion.
In 1962, at the Liahona House in Columbia, she married Philip L. Kelley who preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include: one son, Ben G. Kelley of Independence; one daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Rick Jones of Benton; two sisters, Pam Miller of Independence and Patricia Craven of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Pleasant Heights Congregation of the Community of Christ Church.
