SIKESTON - Martha Floyd, 70, died Sept. 24, 2005, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Jan. 26, 1935, in Arkansas to the late Tom and Vernice Pride, she was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Temple.
On Aug. 10, 1950, in Osceola, Ark., she married Willard Floyd, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: one son, Gary Floyd of Sikeston; two daughters, Barbara Palmer of Sikeston and Maxanne Eftink of Delta; three brothers, Thomas Pride and Bobby Pride of Kokomo, Ind., and Raymond Pride of the state of Nebraska; two sisters, Marie Kentner of Wardell and LaVerne Frederick of St. Louis; and two stepsisters, 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Floyd, and one sister, Ruth Warren.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston until time for services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Delbert Bishop, pastor of the Bement Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Joey Adams, Micheal Adams, Clinton Helmes, Chip Schrader, Gary Adams and Jerry Floyd.
