MOREHOUSE -- Hallie Harvey Hight, 92, died at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 22, 2005, at the Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 19, 1913, in Morehouse, son of the late Joe and Ethel Grisham Hight, he was a member of the Morehouse First Baptist Church and had worked for Peoria, Ill., public schools. He was a 32nd-degree Mason with the Sikeston Masonic Lodge 310 AF&AM,
On May 20, 1934, in Morehouse, he married Florene Crouthers who preceded him in death Nov. 2, 1996.
In addition his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include: one brother, Harry Hight of Peoria; three sisters, Harriet Suhany of Dexter, Hazel Moran of St. Louis and Hilda Rhodes of Ballwin; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday with services following at 1 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Vincent Suhany of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
