Born Oct. 7, 1946, in Detroit, Mich., son of Rose K. Conroy Bryant of Miner and the late William Clyde Bryant, he lived in Charleston most of his life. A member of St. Henry Catholic Church, he was a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran and served in Vietnam.
On Nov. 13, 1972, he married Sandy Griggs, who survives of St. Louis.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Aaron Julian of St. Louis; one sister, JoAnn Fort of Morton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will assemble at 3 p.m. today at Calvary Cemetery near Charleston. The Rev. Stephen Schneider, pastor of St. Henry Catholic Church, will officiate.
