Born April 6, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late William and Mary Lowery Davis, she lived in Wappapello for the past 24 years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Puxico.
On Dec. 19, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, she married J.W. Young who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons, John Wayne Young and Mack Allen Young of Naylor and Larry Dale Young and William Micheal Young of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Mary Lou Jackson of Wappapello; and 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Sailors and Bud Davis; and three sisters, Ruby Nicks, Bertie Carlyle and Meg Carlyle.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. Sunday until service time at 2 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Terry Stockman of Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
