Flag retirement ceremony

Boy Scout Troop 41 members retire a United States flag Tuesday night during their U.S. Flag Retirement Ceremony behind the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce. Over 125 flags were retired during the ceremony. The community service project, which was conducted by Dee Bizzell, provides a respectful and proper disposal of worn and tattered U.S. flags.
