BROOKLAND, Ark. - Jack Bewley, 59, died July 30, 2003, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born June 17, 1944, in Russellville, son of the late Raymond and Grace Coy Bewley, he lived in the Jonesboro area most of his life and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Bewley of Sikeston, Mo., and Jason Bewley of South Bend, Ind.; four daughters, Gayla Clayton of Sikeston, Teresa Bewley of South Bend, Kathy Reed of Mississippi and Holly Lopez of Texas; six brothers, Sonny Bewley, John Bewley and Buster Bewley of Jonesboro, Hubert Bewley of Matthews, Mo., Sherman Bewley of South Bend and Tom Bewley of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; three sisters, Janice Carter of Fort Smith and Cricket Baker and Joetta Bandy of Jonesboro; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Verlon Wood officiating.
Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
