ST. LOUIS -- Melissa Mary Rowe and Justin Harper Lankheit were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 28, 2002, at St. John's Catholic Church in St. Louis. Monsignor Dennis Delaney performed the ceremony. Serving as readers for the occasion were Jennifer Bickell and Elizabeth Barkett.
The bride is the daughter of David and Deborah Rowe of O'Fallon, Ill., and her husband is the son of Joe and Cyndi Lankheit of Sikeston and the late Judy Harper Lankheit.
Music for the occasion was provided by organist Don Massey, trumpet performance by John Korak and vocalists Rebecca Wald and Brandon Hahs.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Rebecca Rowe attended her sister as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Kim Williams, Laura Hoover, Marilyn Hahs, Teresa Morgon and Amy Whitten.
Jacob Lankheit served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Blake Ledbetter, Jordan Masters, Tom Nunnelee Jr., John Potashnick and Garrett Taylor. Ushers were Micheal Hoper, Phillip Barkett Jr. and Hudson Peters.
Amber Newcomb, Angie Atchley and Angel Hahn were candlelighters and attending the guest book and programs were Jennifer Carlton, Jennifer Bickell and Meghan Lurtz.
The reception was held at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Ill.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the new Mr. and Mrs. Lankheit are residing in St. Louis.
