CAPE GIRARDEAU - Clara Mae Toler, 61, died at 12:35 a.m. March 28, 2003, at her home.

Born Dec. 8, 1941, in New Madrid, daughter of the late Jack and Estell Stewart Pigg, she was of the Baptist belief. She worked at Rosie's Diner in New Madrid for 10 years and retired in 2002 after 12 years of service as a nurse aide at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Survivors include: two sons, Roy Toler of Cape Girardeau and Lee Toler of Perryville; six brothers, Jack Pigg and Leonard Pigg of St. Louis, Larry Pigg of Cape Girardeau, Harry Pigg of Chaffee, Donnie Stewart of Tyler, Texas, and Paul Pigg of Port Orange, Fla.; one sister, Carolyn Altom of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
