Man killed in car crash

FISK -- A Stoddard County resident sustained fatal injuries in a one-vehicle accident Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 5:19 p.m., on Stoddard County Highway 51, two miles east of Fisk, an accident occurred as the vehicle driven by Ronald A. Grable, 47, of Fisk ran off the roadway, crossed a drainage ditch and struck an embankment.

Grable was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stoddard County Deputy Coroner.
