Deadline is set

Sikeston City Collector Assistant Marie Walton, Sikeston City Manager Doug Friend and Sikeston City Collector Vicky Jordan look over 2002 and previous years' delinquent personal property tax lists. The city is preparing the list of more than 2,000 Sikeston residents whose names could be printed in the Standard Democrat as having delinquent personal property taxes. To keep your name off of the list the tax must be paid by Aug. 7, city officials said.
