Charles Duncan

Born Jan. 29, 1938, at Trotter, son of the late Ray S. and Dorothy Blevins Duncan, he worked for the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. in Malden and Marion, Ill., for 35 years.

On March 10, 1981, at Essex, he married Linda Nichols who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Mike Duncan of St. Louis and Shane Duncan and Nicholas Duncan of Bernie; two daughters, Cindy Bell of Bloomfield and Stephanie Duncan of Bernie; two stepdaughters, Tomza Vanhorn of Dexter and Tammy Hill of Millstadt, Ill.; three brothers, Jerry Duncan of Essex, Doyle Duncan of Affton and Jimmy Duncan of Bloomfield; one sister, Loretta Ferguson of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren.

One sister, Linda McAnulty, preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with Stan Dauck officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
