Born April 25, 1943, in Kennett, daughter of the late George Andrew and Lillie Harmon Woollums, she was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Tallapoosa.
On Sept. 16, 1965, in Coldwater, Mich., she married Quention Franklin "Frank" Smith who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Barbara Copeland of Tallapoosa and Tracy Gaskins of Holcomb; five sons, Perry Gaskins of Sikeston, Joe Smith of Tallapoosa, Dewayne Smith of Kennett and Franklin Smith and Donald Smith of Poplar Bluff; one brother, George Woollums of Clarkton; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were one son, Thomas Eugene Smith; three sisters, Hazel Hall, Betty Skief and Mona Rawls; and four brothers, Marion Woollums, Raymond Woollums, J.L. Woollums and Doyle Woollums.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Jim Corman will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
