Clara Pittman

ADVANCE -- Clara M. Pittman, 91, died July 9, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 7, 1912, in Arab, daughter of the late Joseph and May Bell Douglas Fish, she retired from Bond Nursing Center in Marble Hill and was a member of the Zalma General Baptist Church.

On Nov. 15, 1956, she married Marion Pittman who preceded her in death on April 16, 1995.

Survivors include: one daughter, Rhonda Metcalf of Advance; one grandson and three great-granddaughters.

Eight brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Bill Fox, officiating.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park.
