PUXICO -- Mary Madeline Woodruff, 80, died Aug. 15, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 28, 1923, in Dudley, daughter of the late Logan W. and Mildred Hutchcraft Clark, she had lived most of her life in Puxico, where she was a member of the Corinth General Baptist Church for 45 years.
On Nov. 23, 1940, in Bloomfield, she married Samuel Woodruff, who preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1999.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald Woodruff of Jackson; four daughters, Donna Lewis of Lafayette, Tenn., Luann Baugher of Puxico, Doris Seabaugh of Holcomb and Marlene Lowe of Kennett; and 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Two sons, Bobby Dean Woodruff and Dennis Elton Woodruff, also preceded her in death.
Visitation begins after 6 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery near Essex.
