PARMA - Freda Morgan, 76, died April 12, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 28, 1927, in Parma, daughter of the late Taylor and Lucy Bell Marcum Jones, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Parma.

On Aug. 31, 1946, in New Madrid, she married R.H. Morgan who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James and Bonnie Morgan of Parma; one brother, Shelby Jones of Parma; two grandchildren, Tammy Sue Johnson of Sikeston and Kimberly Ann Waters of Parma; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Cecilia Jones; and seven brothers, Nathan Jones, Clarence Jones, Coy Jones, Hue Jones, Richard Jones, James Jones and Junior Jones.

Relatives and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Malden Memorial Park Cemetery. Carl Mills will officiate.
