Born Feb. 8, 1920, in Earle, Ark., daughter of the late Timothy and Ozel Clifton Winters, she lived in Missouri since 1933. She was a member of Sanders Chapel AME Church in Wyatt, where she served on the Usher Board.
Survivors include: one daughter Robby Weems of Caruthersville; one son, Larry Donell Winters of Chicago; two stepdaughters, Beverly Farries of Bellwood, Ill., and Gladys Weems of Chicago; nieces and nephews, including Ruby Turner of Bolingbrook, Ill., whom she raised; two sisters, Delmer Harden of Bolingbrook and Mae Bell Barker of Chicago; one brother, Timothy Winters Jr. of Dover, Delaware; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon Wednesday until service time at 1 p.m. at Sanders Chapel AME Church. The Rev. Debbie Thorton will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
