DEXTER - Richard "Dick" Grobe, 64, died April 11, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born Dec. 26, 1939, in Poplar Bluff, son of Elsie Wilhelm Grobe of Poplar Bluff and the late Paul E. Grobe, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and attended the First Christian Church in Dexter. He was a former co-owner of Tractor Supply Company in Sikeston.
On Aug. 14, 1959, at Poplar Bluff, he married Marrine Green who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Amy Grobe of Dexter; two brothers, Paul Dale Grobe of Poplar Bluff and Don Grobe of Montgomery, Ala.; and two grandchildren, Emily Grobe and Evan Grobe of Dexter.
One brother, Terry Grobe, preceded him in death.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating.
Burial followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
