MOREHOUSE - Kay Laminack, 62, died March 2, 2004, at her home.
Born March 30, 1941, in Parma, daughter of the late Ora Lee and Mildred Faye Woodson Stroud, she had lived in Illinois and Texas and was a resident of Morehouse for many years. She had been employed by National Lock and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse and attended the Oneness Pentecostal Church in Morehouse.
On Dec. 24, 1959, in Morehouse, she married Jim Laminack who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, James Randall Laminack of Morehouse; one daughter, Cindy Bowers of Sikeston; two brothers, Ronnie Stroud and Donnie Stroud of Morehouse; one sister, Brenda Sanders of Morehouse; and four grandchildren.
One brother, Gary Dewayne Stroud, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Frank Breeden of Morehouse will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
