EAST PRAIRIE - Mary Elizabeth Lusk, 86, died at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28, 2004, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Born Feb. 17, 1917, in Brownsville, Tenn., daughter of the late Howard Samuel and Rose Carroll, she lived in East Prairie most of her life.

Her husband, George Newton Lusk, preceded her in death on March 30, 1981.

Survivors include: two sons, George Clifton Lusk of Rayville, La., and Billy Lusk of Greenville, Miss.; six daughters, Carolyn Slade and Mary Green of Rayville, Dorothy Morgan of Wisner, La., Faye Morris of McConellsburg, Pa., Elizabeth Fullington of Cahokia, Ill., and Janet Lusk of East Prairie; and 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two sons, one daughter, one brother, one sister and one granddaughter.

Graveside services were conducted Saturday at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Berl Britt officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
