Born Nov. 25, 1902, in Dexter, daughter of the late Snowden and Maggie Ellen Carter Bailey, she was a lifelong resident of Dexter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, where she attended the Delphenia Sunday school class, and was also a member of the Walnut Lane Goodwill Club.
On Nov. 2, 1920, in Dexter, she married Amon E. Miller who preceded her in death on May 21, 1992.
Survivors include: one son, Bobby Lee Miller of Dexter; two daughters, Norma Jean Bradley of Cave-In Rock, Ill., and Sue Meyer of Dexter; two brothers, Charles Lee Bailey and J.C. Bailey of Clarkston, Mich.; one sister, Mary Helen Keith of Waterford, Mich.; and seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Amon Miller Jr. on June 20, 1943; and six brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. today until service time at 2 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Revs. Kevin Chenoweth and Mike Watkins of Dexter will officiate.
Private graveside services will be conducted at the Dexter Cemetery.
