SWINTON -- Noble Elgin Bollinger, 80, died March 19, 2007, at his home.
Born Jan. 3, 1927, at Bell City, son of the late Dan and Ella Pritchett Bollinger, he was a truck driver for Wetterau Wholesale in Hazelwood, from which he retired in 1988 after 38 years of service.
On July 21, 1958, he married Melissa May Cooley who preceded him in death on June 1, 1982.
One sister, Reva Riddle, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: nine children and spouses, Jerry Bollinger and Janice and Ritch Powell of Gerald, Roger "Butch" and Sheila Bollinger of Florissant, Jason and Hiliary Pyle-Bollinger of Advance, Doris and Tom Bayer of Festus, Debbie Atkins of Maryland Heights, Tammy and Pete Bradshaw-Snyder of Pekin, Ill., Melissa and Mike Houston of New Haven and Tim and Kenny Adler of St. Peters; one brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Pat Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; one sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and Paul Huhn of Cape Girardeau; and 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday with Curtis Powell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
