Born June 9, 1943, in Ash Hill, daughter of the late Glen and Geneva Wicks Sisco, she lived in Puxico most of her life. A 1960 graduate of Puxico High School, she graduated in 1992 from Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau. She had worked as a hair dresser, teacher and for 17 years in area post offices during which time she was postmaster of the Sturdivant Post Office. A former member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church near Puxico, she was a member of the Puxico First Baptist Church.
On Feb. 3, 1962, at Ash Hill, she married Jerry Crisel who survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Angie Crisel of Thompsonville, Ill., and Steven and Amy Crisel of Puxico; three sisters, Sue Elledge of Wappapello, Glenda Riggins of Cape Girardeau and Kay Vester of Poplar Bluff; and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Crisel of Thompsonville.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Puxico with the Revs. Buzz Brown and Wiley McGhee of Puxico officiating.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
