SIKESTON - A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Crowley of Sikeston on Aug. 23 at St. Mary's Infirmary in Cairo, Ill.
SIKESTON - Greg Comer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy B. Comer, graduated from Sikeston High School with the class of 1964. He will attend Southeast Missouri State College this fall and is a member of the famed Golden Eagle Band.
SIKESTON - A full season of the best high school football in the area is available with the purchase of a season ticket for the 1964 Bulldog campaign. Reserved seats at Public Stadium are $5 a piece. All reserved seats are between the two 30-yard lines. Season tickets for all four home contests are going for $3.50
SIKESTON - The Sikeston Lions Club is sponsoring an appearance by Walker Brothers Circus on Sept. 15. Two shows will be presented, one at 5:30 p.m. and the next at 7:30 p.m. at Pine Street and Malone Avenue. Featured will be elephants, horses, dogs, aerial acts and clowns. Tickets may be purchased prior to the shows at KSIM Radio Station, the office of Dr. William Dillon, Golden Corral Restaurants and at both AmeriFirst Banks.

SIKESTON - Sikeston running back Tim Gross pulled away from Charleston's Scott Stefankieqicz during the second half of Friday's game. Gross carried 14 times for 134 yards and scored three touchdowns in the second half, as the Bulldogs rolled to a 25-7 victory.
