Delta rolls past Oran Lady Eagles

ZALMA - Delta's girls basketball team had no problem with Oran in the Class 1 District 2 finals, 52-29.

A young Bobcat (19-5) squad started slow, but led comfortably throughout the second half. Ashley Elliot led Delta with 15 points, and Sarah Cook added 12.

Tiffany Glastetter led Oran with 12 points.

Delta will play in the sectional round Tuesday at Sikeston.
