Joetta Myers
JACKSON - Joetta Mae Myers, 77, died at 11:30 p.m. March 22, 2004, at her home.
Born Nov. 28, 1926, in Mound City, Ill., daughter of the late Joseph Dudley and Georgia Lennie Redfern Proctor, she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Jackson.
On March 13, 1943, she married William J. Myers who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Billy Joe Myers of Jackson; one daughter, Georgia Wessel of Gordonville; two brothers Woodrow Proctor of Cape Girardeau and Joe "Sonny" Proctor of Herrin, Ill.; two sisters, Nora White of Canoga Park, Calif., and Erline Hooker of Pekin, Ill.; and two grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
One brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Dean Heady, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church of Jackson, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
