BELL CITY -- Meghan Dawn Dover and Nathan Eugene Walter exchanged wedding vows in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony May 29, 2004, at the Bell City United Methodist Church. Rick Crump performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Lynda Fych.
The bride is the daughter of Kay Dover of Bell City and the late Johnny Dover and parents of the bridegroom are Cynthia Walter of Puxico and Kim and Cheryl Walter of Oran.
Vocalist Julie York and musician Debbie Wright provided music for the ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Carl Rampley and given in marriage by her mother. Kelli Asher of Bell City served the bride as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Whitney Walter of Puxico, Brooke Phillips of Perkins, Sarah Pobst and Jessica Shelby of Bell City and Danette Todt of Sikeston. Kassie Stanfield, daughter of David and Cheryl Stanfield of Franklin, Tenn., was flower girl.
Jeremy Walter of Puxico attended the bridegroom as best man. Groomsmen were Kim Walter of Oran, Tim Allbritton of Poplar Bluff and Clay Dover, David Capps and John Rhodes of Bell City.
Roxanne Walter of Oran and Paige Rampley of Benton were candlelighters.
Serving guests at the wedding reception, which was held at the Dover residence, were Jodie Cox and Crystal Gogol of Bell City.
Following a honeymoon trip to Freeport, Bahamas, Mr. and Mrs. Walter are residing in Bell City.
