Janet Faire

EAST PRAIRIE - Janet Faire, 69, died at 11:07 a.m. Oct. 6, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 2, 1931, in Holland, Mich., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith, she lived for the past 18 years in East Prairie where she was a member of the First General Baptist Church. She was a cook for the East Prairie R-2 School District for many years.

In March 1968, she married Delbert R. Faire who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Roger Dale Faire of East Prairie; one brother, Fred Smith of Holland, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Abigail Faire, Isaac Faire and Brandon Faire.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Dale Billingsley will officiate.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
