NEW MADRID - Miss Molly Bea Camp, 16, of Lilbourn, was crowned Miss New Madrid County Friday night at the 13th annual Fall Festival, held at Lilbourn High School. Her attendants were Miss Judy Wilson, 17, of Parma, first alternate; and Miss Charlene Ragan, 17, of Lilbourn, second alternate.
SIKESTON - Ed McCormick of Roommates Waterbeds recently announced the location of a new Roommates Waterbeds Store in Sikeston's Kingsway Mall, located in the former Athletes Foot Store. The store is scheduled to open soon, he said.
SIKESTON - Sarah Chittenden has been chosen Senior High School Student of the Month by Sikeston Elks Lodge No. 2319. She participates in such organizations as TAP, marching band, PEP band, concert band, Regional Science Fair, Missouri Girl's State, Girl Scouts and Missouri Girl's State.
