PORTAGEVILLE - Mary Lovina LaMar, 87, died at 2:30 p.m. July 1, 2003, in the Portageville Nursing Center.
Born Aug. 10, 1915, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late John Edward and Bertha Mae Sandy Garrison, she was a seamstress for a clothing factory and was of the Pentecostal belief.
On April 1, 1951, she married Harry LaMar who preceded her in death on June 25, 1980.
One son, five brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Harley Clifford Blizzard of Indianapolis, Ind., and Reginald Allen Blizzard of Plainfield, Ind.; one daughter, Imogene Pounders of Thayer; one sister, Alice Curtis of Chaffee; and 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with the Rev. Larry Jeffries officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be: Jon Gregory Corbett, Donnie Jeffries, Bruce Jeffries, Jason Jeffries, Brandon Jeffries and Jeremy Thacker.
