Stormy weather

A New Madrid County Sheriff's deputy halts traffic on U.S. Highway 61, two miles south of Sikeston, after a power line fell onto the highway this morning. A strong thunder storm roared through the area causing local flooding of streets and blowing down limbs and power lines.
