NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. - Thelma Irene Marshall, 80, died Oct. 18, 2004, at the Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion.
Born May 24, 1924, in Morehouse, Mo., daughter of the late Jesse Pillar and Bendia Melinda Graham Culbertson, she lived in the Jackson area from 1983 until 1998 when she moved to Lyons, N.Y. She moved to North Chicago in 2000 and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
On March 9, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, she married Glen Marshall who preceded her in death in 1993.
Survivors include: one son, the Rev. Michael Marshall of Helenville, Wis.; one brother, Eugene Culbertson of Jackson; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
One brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Revs. Michael Marshall and David Pringle will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City, Mo.
