BENTON - James Nelson Daugherty, 38, died Dec. 22, 2004, at his residence in Benton.

Born May 21, 1966, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Geraldine Maloney Wells of Benton and the late James Daugherty Sr., he was a driver for Cauble and Fields and a member of the OIDA.

On Oct. 30, 1993, he married Regina Wheatley, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jeffery Michael Daugherty and Bradley James Daugherty of Chaffee; one stepson, Jerry Christopher Wheatley of Benton; one stepdaughter, Jessica Blythe Wheatley of Benton; three sisters, Phyllis Green of Fountain Inn., S.C., Jo Anne Harrold of Raceland, lowa, and Cherri Lyons of South Williamsport, Penn.; and his stepfather, Gerald Wells of Benton.

Visitation will be from noon Sunday until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ponder Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow.
