Born Dec. 31, 1928, in Kaiser, Ark., to the late Raymond and Ethel Mae Powers Wilson, he was the former owner of Woody's Pest Control and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
On Sept. 2, 1951, at Blytheville, Ark., he married Loretta Rhodes, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Dan C. Wilson and Wendell R. Wilson of Sikeston and Robin and Woodrow "Woody" Wilson Jr. of Highlandville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Mike Jany of Winamac, Inc., Carma and Kevin Still and Lora and Steven Turner of Sikeston; one brother, Raymond Wilson of Hardy, Ark.; two sisters, Betty R. Baker of Cherokee Village, Ark., and Sandra Hardesty of League City, Texas; and 11 grandchildren, Jennifer, Courtney, Justin, Yalonda, Rachel, Wesley, Adrian, Paige, Cassie, Mandy and Stacy.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Ponder Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Church of The Nazarene. The Rev. John Bouldren will officiate at the funeral service.
Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
