SIKESTON -- Rita J. Tellow and James D. Henson exchanged wedding vows in a Jan. 4, 2003, ceremony at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church before the Rev. Stephen Schneider.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R.J. Tellow of Sikeston and her husband is the son of George and Debbie Henson of Scott City.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Nora Fuchs.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white Mori Lee satin and tulle bridal gown. The princess-line gown featured cap sleeves and beaded trim with embroidered floral motifs over the multi-layered tulle skirt. A chapel length train complemented the design.

Kristen Ancell of Sikeston attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Mosley, Amy Smith and Caroline Harper of Sikeston.

George Henson of Scott City served the bridegroom as best man. Groomsmen were Omar Tellow of Sikeston, Benjamin Henson of Scott City and Paul Tellow of Sikeston.

Guest book attendant was Amy Bradford of Advance.

A dinner and dance reception were held following the ceremony at the Sikeston Country Club.

Following a Western Caribbean cruise, the new Mr. and Mrs. Henson are making their home in Cape Girardeau.
