Sikeston Standard Democrat: Obituaries: Solomon Tyler (06/30/03)

SIKESTON -- Solomon Tyler, 51, died June 26, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 30, 1951, in Hollandale, Miss., son of O.C. Parker Tillman and the late James Tillman, he was a self-employed carpenter.

In addition to his mother, survivors include: three brothers, James Tillman of Jefferson City, Frank Parker of California and Rodger Parker of Farmington; and two sisters, Jean Madison of Sikeston and Frankie Driver of Jefferson City.

Visitation is from noon Tuesday until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston with the Rev. L.J. Nabors officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
