NEW MADRID - Martha Stephens "Momo" Riley, 89, died Oct. 15, 2004, at her home.

Born Dec. 31, 1914, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Ferninand Maddox and Martha Virginia Prather, she was a homemaker, retired teacher's aide and member of Immaculate Conception Church.

On March 9, 1935, she married Lilbourn L. "Pud" Riley who preceded her in death on April 3, 2000.

Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Edward A. and Dorothy J. Riley of Dexter, Michael L. and Sue Riley of Sikeston and Stephen H. Riley of New Madrid; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Charlotte and Bob Minkler of St. Louis, Martha Marie and Wendell Thompson of New Madrid and Mary E. Betz of Memphis, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Lacy J. Riley.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
