Albert Duggar

CHAFFEE - Albert Earl Duggar, 99, formerly of Advance, died March 22, 2008, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 26, 1908, in Stoddard County, to the late Thomas Franklin and Mertie Bell Rhodes Duggar, he owned and operated Duggar's Grocery Store in Chaffee and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.

On June 6, 1929, he married Amy Juanita Davenport, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 5, 1998.

One infant daughter also preceded him in death.

Visitation is at 4:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating.

Burial will follow in the Friend Cemetery at Oran.

Pallbearer will be John Dumey
