LILBOURN - Arnold Simpson, 86, passed away March 10, 2008, at his home.
Born April 14, 1921, in Lilbourn, to the late Welton Simpson and Ida Arnold Simpson, he was a World War II veteran. For several years he owned and operated Simpson Refrigerator Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church in Lilbourn.
On Aug. 16, 1971, he married Ermine Keith at the Methodist Church in Lilbourn, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon and Johnny Livingston of Bartlett, Tenn. and Brenda Tomlin of Haleyville, Ala.; one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Rosemary Simpson of Cordova, Tenn.; four sisters, Lucille Brewer of New Madrid, Patsy Tisher and Margaret Ann Simpson of Lilbourn, and Mildred Cobb of Sikeston; one brother, Loyne Simpson of Lilbourn; nine grandchildren, Jeff Livingston, Dana Scaife, Paige Bingham, Misty Dawn Hall, Carrie Simpson, Gina Cici, Lynda Williams, Kevin Tomlin and Courtney Maclin; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Church in Lilbourn. The Rev. Bill Reed will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
