CHARLESTON - Allie Inez Dillie Brown, 75, died at 6:55 a.m. June 25, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 17, 1928, in Steele, daughter of the late Albert Daniel and Mamie Inez Green Dillie, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life. Before her retirement, she had been employed with the Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston and Burkhart Manufacturing Co. in Cairo, Ill. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.
On July 24, 1954, she married Roy T. Brown who preceded her in death on May 6, 1991.
Survivors include: three sons, James E. Bradley, William "Bill" Bradley and Danny Bradley of Charleston; three daughters, Mary Inez Crane and Catherine Ann Rosson of Charleston; Edith Mae Boyd of Ellington and Lavonda Jean Payne of Zellwood, Fla.; one sister, Myrtle Wallace of Sikeston; and 28 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Thomas Roy Brown Jr.; two brothers, Luther Dillie and Murel Dillie; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Passley; and one granddaughter and one grandson.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. Her son, Bill Bradley, minister of the Morley Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
