Sue Abernathy

PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. - Marilyn "Sue" Abernathy, 60, died at 2:43 p.m. June 22, 2003, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born Nov. 10, 1942, in Kennett, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Bill and Nana Lou Marshall Watson.

Survivors include: one son, Rob Abernathy of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tresa and Martin Fox of Kirksville, Mo., and Lisa Abernathy of Peoria Heights; two sisters, Kay Little of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Ann Hoover of Peoria; one grandchild; and a special friend, Art Jones of the home.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Hal Abernathy and Rich Abernathy; and one grandchild.

Services were conducted today at the home of Ann and Ron Hoover.

Private graveside services will be conducted at a later date in Morley, Mo.

The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
